Joie de Vivre: Black-Eyed Susan
Inspired by simple pleasures and the exuberant enjoyment of life, what the French refer to as “ joie de vivre”.
Do you call them Brown-Eyed or Black-Eyed Susans? In any case they too grow wild and free in my garden. They make me think of my husband's mom. Her name was Susan, she had brown eyes and the biggest and most joyous smile. I love that B inherited that from her.
