This painting was inspired by one of my cats. His name was La Ling. He was thought to be part Maine coon, tipped the scales at 24lbs and charmed every single human he ever came into intact with. He lived to the ripe old age of seventeen, holding on to meet baby Iris. He loved taking long naps in the garden. He would sit under the catmint with this look upon his face, blissfully unaware of crowds of bees buzzing above his head.

I love this piece of art with its rich color and peaceful, harmonious feel of a fox enjoying the beautiful day among the zinnias and bees. This was a gift for my son and will be a great addition to his wall.
