"New Beginnings" @ Nahcotta
‘New Beginnings’ is a collection of twelve new oil paintings inspired by Spring. Birds, bees, flowers, trees - all creatures great and small find peace and joy together in the rising sun.
Two foxes frolic through melting snow. Four friends find shelter from the rain under a single umbrella. Six songbirds serenade a mother deer and her newborn fawn.
Spring is new life and regrowth. Spring is alive and lush with possibility. Spring is dependable and a promise that light will follow darkness.
The 'New Beginnings' Collection will be available on Tuesday, May 3rd at 12:00 Noon (EST) on the gallery's website.

Raised in a log cabin in the woods…
Kim Ferreira now lives in Portsmouth, NH, a lovely little city by the sea. Her work is inspired by simple pleasures and the exuberant enjoyment of life, what the French refer to as “joie de vivre”. These small-scale oil paintings feature an array of anthropomorphic woodland animals against a backdrop nodding to french rococo landscapes and celebrate the little things that bring her joy.
