Inspired by flower power.

I used to plant Mammoth Sunflowers in our garden every year. Starting from seed, I've always been so amazed by how fast and large they grow. They looked a bit ridiculous in our very tiny outdoor space but I loved how they provided the birds and squirrels with a giant feast at summer's end. This year we opted for a smaller variety. Large or not-so-large, there is something about yellow sunflowers that triggers memories of childhood and feelings of comfort and joy. .
