I had gestational diabetes with both of my pregnancies. Thankfully I was able to manage it by eating healthy and walking after (almost) every meal. I quite enjoyed going out at night, the solitude, the quiet. Sometimes my mind would race, so many things to worry about (I was 20 weeks pregnant at the start of the pandemic). I found comfort each night in the moon, smiling down on me.
