"Victoria Sandwich Cake" Limited Edition Print (Unframed)

Inspired by love of baking and the joy in watching The Great British Baking Show.

It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The baker's dozen are always so sweet and supportive of each other, the bakes are ambitious and inspiring, often of interesting and historical origin, and then there is the Great Mary Berry, who I want to be when I grow up. The Classic Victoria Sandwich has been on my list of bakes to try for a few years and I finally gave it a go for Mother's Day last year. (My mom is a serious Anglophile and I knew she'd appreciate the classic British dessert). Not to brag, but it came out absolutely delicious! Light layers of fluffy sponge filled with cream and strawberry jam. As Prue Leith would say, "worth the calories".

The perfect print!

This was one of 3 prints we got for our nursery (woodland themed) and it is so perfect! Beautifully printed, such a fun and whimsical painting. And Kim was a joy to work with as well! She was very responsive and quick to ship our order. I can't say enough good things!

Lovely bear and Victoria sponge!

I just love all the whimsical subjects Kim has painted so it's hard to choose between them. This particular print is lush with color and so sweet in so many ways. If there is an aura for this specific print, it is of generosity in the huggable bear and the delectable treat, along with the little bird friend. What's not to like?! It is adorable. Kim sends good energy out to the universe with her art. Thank you so much!!
