I love to bake and I’m obsessed with the Great British Baking Show. The swiss roll makes its debut every season in various forms and often causes problems for bakers. I’ve attempted to roll sponge twice, both times in the form of buche de Noel. The results were a bit disappointing - delicious but desperately lacking finesse. Se la vie. If at first (or second) you don’t succeed, try again!
