I was prolific when my children were babies. I was very disciplined and could get a painting done every day while they napped. Now my babies are four and seven, nap-time is a thing of the past and my business has also grown up. I’ve struggled to find time to create new work. I try to remember the inspiring words of a fellow artist and devoted father. “You will make less art, but you will also make some of your best work. Cherish this time”. This past year I’ve made some changes, asked for help, and things are looking up.
