My son started coming home with non-fiction books from the library this year. Together we have learned about amphibians, orca whales, giant rodents, anacondas, dinosaurs, prehistoric ocean creatures, to name a few. I love his curiosity and fascination with the natural world. While I too am fascinated with these things and love learning, I only read fiction. Currently historical fiction is my jam, but it all began with fairy tales. I've always been an escapist.
