My children each sleep with a noise machine. It's shaped like an owl and projects a light onto the ceiling, a circle of stars and moons. It's been a constant. We bring it when we go on vacations. Purchased an extra for naps at Nanna's. Through dreams, good and bad. Sickness. My daughter was suffering from night terrors last year. It took us a few months to figure out that was what was going on. My heart broke, then I picked up the pieces and did extensive research. The night terrors lessened over time. She hasn't had one since. We are all blessed to be sleeping thru the night once again to the sound of gentle waves and under the soft glow of stars and moons.
